Miranda began her career behind the chair in 2013 with a desire to help people feel more confident through artistry.

With over a decade behind an American Mortals chair, Miranda has been an integral part of AmMo being a safe and welcoming environment for the LGBTQIA+ community, with an affinity for gender-affirming cuts.

Miranda’s proficiency in barbering and precision cutting has led to her current role leading the Cutting portion of our Apprentice Education Program.

When not in the salon, Miranda also runs the Gay Clay Shop, where you can get earrings celebrating any and all things Queer and Philly!
